Important

Leap is non-custodial. Your seed phrase is the only way to access your funds after sunset. Back it up before May 28, 2026.

  2. Go to Settings → Show Recovery Phrase.
  3. Enter your password and copy your 12/24 words to a safe offline location.
  1. Tap your profile → Security → Show Recovery Phrase.
  2. Authenticate with FaceID / passcode.
  3. Write down (do not screenshot) your seed and store offline.
  1. Tap profile → Security & Privacy → Show Recovery Phrase.
  2. Authenticate with biometrics or PIN.
  3. Record your seed on paper or a hardware backup device.
  1. Open Leap Desktop → Settings → Wallets.

  1. Never share your seed with anyone — Leap support will NEVER ask for it.
  2. Avoid storing seeds in cloud notes, photos, email, or screenshots.
  3. Verify the URL is leapwallet.io — bookmark official links.
  4. Beware of fake support DMs on Discord, Telegram and X.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Leap will stop maintaining and updating its apps after May 28, 2026. The apps may continue working for a period but will no longer receive security patches or feature updates.

No. Leap is fully non-custodial — your assets live on-chain, not on Leap's servers. As long as you have your recovery phrase, you can access your funds in any compatible wallet, forever.

Apps will remain accessible for download and basic use through the sunset date and likely beyond. We strongly recommend completing migration before May 28, 2026.

Write your 12/24-word recovery phrase on paper or engrave it on a metal backup plate. Never store it digitally (cloud, photos, notes).
